Research Assistant I in the Centre of Buddhist Studies (Ref.: 201300287) (from as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Biomedical Engineering or relevant fields. One with Knowledge or experience with biomedical signal processing such as electroencephalography (EEG) and good at Matlab is strongly preferred. The appointee should be able to work independently and as a team player in a multidisciplinary environment. The appointee will primarily be responsible to acquire, process and quality control of EEG data of a project on Meditation and Neuroscience. He/She will also assist in the experimental design, data analysis and manuscript preparation, and perform any other duties as assigned.
